Atheists: if you were English royalty would it bother you that the state forbids you to marry a Catholic?

I'm guessing any rule that tells them who they may and may not marry in order to conform to a religious standard not their own (which is what that law is all about - they must be Anglican) just for that religious standard's (as view by the state) own sake would not go over too well with any atheist, Heathen, Pagan, Christian or anyone else with firm spiritual convictions.
