Can you collect a royalty from one party and again from a different party?

If you have a royalty claim with Party A, can you have another royalty claim with Party B, C or D without there being "effects" of multiple royalties? Because you would already have a licensed agreement with Party A, thus would it be a problem in any way to have royalties with other people/companies?
