Needing help on what color for painting a baby's room?

We find out the gender of our baby in a month but my husband's Grandfather (who we rent from) approved us painting the rooms :) but as long as they are more pastel colors so he wont have to repaint over it when we move. Which makes completely good sense. So we have picked out a color for every room except the baby's room. If its a boy, we are going circus theme. Not super kiddy like but more vintage with color. If it is a girl the theme is going to be masquerade ball room with a twist of princess' and royalty, but PLEASE no super girly bright pink and purple tones...its cute but I am not a fan of it personally. I would liek it to be more vintage with color, elegant, and some lots of golds. The closest to pink that I do not mind is a dusty rose color :) I would really appreciate the help! :)
