Organic Chem Please Help:Trimyristin from Nutmeg experiment?

I'm not quite familiar with this exact experiment, but (judging by my experiences from a year of organic lab) you can almost always assume that most loss of product occurs during purification. Whenever a procedure involves multiple steps requiring filtration, recrystallization, etc., it's going to provide ample opportunities to leave product behind.
