What is the UK policy for royalties for teens?

Getting a publishing deal is a far, far steeper mountain to climb than worrying about royalties. Basically, whatever age you are, you are not going to make a lot of money as a first-time unknown author. Write because you love writing, not because you want to make money out of it. I'm not trying to be harsh but realistic.
