Isolation and purification of benzoic acid from the mixture?

Recrystallise by dissolving in a hot solution that benzoic acid doesn't dissolve in easily when cold, then you add just enough to dissolve all of the benzoic acid and then cool the solution and the benzoic acid should precipitate out. Then you can filter it and recrystallise a second time if necessary.
