I'm a 13 year old boy, 6'2, and I have a rather "scrawny appearance", if you will. For the past nine months I've been going to a gym with a personal trainer two to three times a week, and my measurements barely changed. My diet on average consists of about 90-100 grams of protien a day, and I'm beginning to question if that's an adequate amount. My trainer told me that I should eat about 1.5 times my body weight, which is about 220 grams of protien a day, and I simply don't have enough food to make up for that amount. I also used to be dehydrated for the first 8 months of my training because I used to neglect my "daily water intake". Could dehydration be the problem, or not enough protien? Will 90 grams of protien daily ever make atleast some subtle changes, now that I'm more hydrated?

I would get rid of about half of that stuff and add others to it. Besides the food and water (already mentioned) I would add toilet paper, soap, tooth brush, tooth paste, deodorant (give the animals a break). Get rid of most of your fire making equipment. One box of matches and a small butane lighter should be fine. If you worry about starting a fire, get fire starter tablets at the army/navy store. these are much smaller than all of that equipment. Get rid of the illumination sticks and get an LED flashlight that can be used for several hundred hours on one set of batteries. Bring an extra set. Depending on where you live, bring rain gear. An emergency poncho is very small. Some kind of small tent with ground floor to keep you dry would be good. A small camper trowel to dig with (unless you are going to lug a toilet into the woods you need to bury your ....).

Guinea Pig Decision Help?

So, i've had my male guinea pig Spud for about 2-3 years. Ever since we adopted him at 3 months old, my other guinea pig Demetri never seemed to like him. I'm not really a fan of romances, but I like story one better. the first story is more forbidden love, Romeo and Juliet style almost. Ben loves her but can't really marry her. The second comes off more like "how could he possibly like Rose, he's royalty?" It makes Ben seem more unlikeable.

Just FYI, writing long, descriptive passages about someone feeling sad is generally considered bad writing, as is having the character's thoughts be in quotations. If you're not going to include any specific details, or use the character's voice in the thoughts, then you shouldn't focus on internal "OH LOOK AT ME I'M SO DEEP AND EMOTIONAL" passages.

Im 17 years old and since i was little i always get really bad mouth ulcers. Some of them last up to 2 weeks and after that one is gone, another one will pop up a week or so later. Hey all, I recently bought an 8 week old puppy and I'm currently in the process of crating him. I'm being told that if I crate him and keep his crate next to me, he will not be able to be alone for while I'm at work ( I work nine hour shifts, but come home at lunch, so he will only be alone for 4 hours at a time). Being a former one, I empathize with Catholics who have through the church this massive guilt and think that works and prayers to saints and to Mary will save you. Why would Jesus die for your sins IF He didn't really mean to save you? Think about it. I was brought up in the Catholic faith, being taught that if we prayed for those in Purgatory, they may reach salvation.
